Laurence out abruptly at Rogers to make way for Joe Natale

Rogers has announced what some are calling the abrupt and immediate resignation of president and CEO Guy Laurence. He has been with the firm less than three years. Laurence is credited with improving Rogers competitive position and the stunning 12-year rights deal with the NHL. His replacement will be former Telus chief executive Joe Natale who resigned from Telus last summer because, he said, he didn’t want to move to Vancouver. Hmm.
