Driver “rode” windshield as highway bus rolled over on 401

The driver of a Prevost model highway bus that rolled over on Highway 401 was ejected from the vehicle with such force it caused him to slide along the pavement on the windshield, according to police. The bus struck a divider known as a jersey barrier (named in New Jersey but also known as an Ontario Tall Wall) which separates lanes of traffic at approaches. In this case the empty bus was heading onto the westbound 401 near Avenue Road but didn’t quite make it into the full collector lane.
