Edmonton police search for road-rage crowbar attacker

Edmonton police are trying to find a man whose frightening anger caused him to follow another driver to her home and attack her with a crowbar. The assault broke both her arms. Police say they have tips on the attacker but so far have been unable to identify him. The attack occurred Tuesday in a quiet residential area of Edmonton as the woman returned home after 6 a.m. having dropped off her husband at work. When she came to her turn, there was a car (seen above) sitting in the intersection blocking her way. She honked her horn. The vehicle, described as a Pontiac Wave, followed her to her driveway where the attack took place. Police say they believe the woman put her arms up to protect her head from oncoming blows. She is still in hospital.
