The Earth Hour weekend of March 25 and 26 will see two days of activity at St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church at 1399 Bayview Ave. Saturday morning Archbishop Fred Hiltz will be the keynote speaker at the kickoff to an Environment Fair in Lamb Hall. That’s at 10 a.m. with the fair running from 11 to 2. The church says there will be more than 20 exhibits including government, private business and advocacy groups. MP Rob Oliphant and Ward 22 Councillor Josh Matlow will also speak. There will be activities for children and youth, with food available for purchase. Then in the evening, Earth Hour will be marked between 8:30 and 9:30 in the church
On Sunday at 8 a.m. Archbishop Hiltz will conduct a quiet celebration using traditional language and children’s programming. At 10 a.m. there will be a music-filled family-friendly celebration in contemporary language followed by socializing with coffee, tea and a light snack.
