Three wanted for early morning assault on bus passenger

These three people, two men and a woman, are alleged to have attacked a young man on a bus near Bayview and Finch Aves. about 3.50 a.m. on March 28. They took his coat and money after striking him in the face.


Police are warning of a “gemstone investment fraud” and would like to speak with potential victims. Fraudsters were using the name “Royal Fine Jewels” as well as “Nygard & Associates” to lure victims into the sale and marketing of fine gems and jewelry The victims were promised generous returns on their original gemstone investments and began marketing them with these companies The stories of big money grew to encourage more purchases. Individuals victimized by these businesses were eventually told a buyer has been found and to sign sales agreements promising sizable returns on their investments to date The sales agreements were never fulfilled, and victims were left with gemstones valued at a fraction of what they were purported to be worth The perpetrators have vanished.


The men pictured below used handgun and pepper spray during an argument in a bar near King West and Brant St. The gun was fired in the air. The suspect with the firearm (left) is described as brown, 25-30, 5’9″-5’10”, wearing a black coat. The firearm is described as a silver or grey semi-automatic handgun. The suspect with the pepper spray (right) is described as brown, 25-30, 5’6″-5’7″, slightly overweight, wearing a grey or black jacket.
