Toronto firefighter was charity calendar and fitness figure

A well-known firefighter and the cover person on the current Toronto firefighter calendar has been killed in a collision between his motorcycle and a Jeep on Leslie Street in North York. Stuart Bryan, 30, was on his bike northbound on Leslie near Corning Road when the vehicle came out of a driveway and, according to police, “sideswiped” the fireman. The investigation continues.  Bryan practiced fitness and was a former trainer and lifeguard. The Toronto Professional Firefighters Association called his death “sudden and tragic” as it identified him to the media.
