Bamboobay Camp kids strut their stuff for moms and dads

Thursday saw a lovely evening of learning and parental reward for kids enrolled in the Bamboobay Summer Arts Camp. The children have been working for three weeks to present a series of sketches under the heading of A Little Show Biz. After their energetic performance they were able to race out front to the hugs and congratulations of their moms and dads. Perfect. The show was based on the premise of a visit to Grandma’s attic by children who find wonderful show business props like hats, canes, capes and feather boas. You get the idea. The camp was the work of Bamboobay principal Carrie Laureola and school dramatic teacher Megan Slater. The performance was held in the church hall of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church on Don Mils Road. Performing Arts Summer Camp offered for area children
