Chrome Cow on stilts is giving Markham homeowners fits

A large chrome Cow which is said to be a donation (although the benefactor seems murky) has been installed on stilts in a Markham neighbourhood where residents are in a fit over the rather ungainly structure. They have complained to Councillor Alan Ho who seems to be as much responsible as anyone for the surprise addition to a small parkette because he voted in favour of accepting the thing. “This is really a shock for us; it’s not a small cow,” said one resident.

  1. The cow was donated by Helen Roman Barber, developer of the neighbourhood who, in return received a $1.2m tax credit.
