2 face second-degree murder counts in death of Isaiah Witt

Two teens have now been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Isaiah Witt, 15, in Stan Wadlow Park Saturday evening. They are aged 18 and 19. It appears that two others were also investigated but released. Witt was a student as Wexford Collegiate. Parents in the area have expressed deep concern about gatherings in the park during the summer under the guise of parties. Police have not confirmed the nature of the meetings. A second teen was also stabbed but is said to be recovering. Isaiah Witt was an aspiring body builder. The Toronto District School Board issued a statement through principal Tom Lazarou: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for all of us at Wexford,” he said. “(Isaiah) had a passion for fitness training and enjoyed playing the guitar. His peers describe him as outgoing, kind, caring and adorable.”
