3 held in robberies, assault by night at massage parlours

Three men in their 20s have been arrested after a series of violent robberies targeting homes that operated as massage parlours. They are Jonathan Anderson, 22, of Oshawa; Param Budhwar, 25, of Oshawa; and Cordel Mingo Adams, 25, of Pickering. Each faces several charges including robbery with a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime. The robberies occurred in the middle of the night on Danforth Ave. near Victoria Park and Dundas St. W. and Bathurst St. Police said one of the men assaulted a woman by choking her. She was then allegedly sexually assaulted — with 680 News 


Police warn Friday of a burglar who is entering homes of young women in southeast 43 Division after he has “attempted to gather personal information about them.”  This is occurring in an area bounded by Ellesmere Road to the north; Lake Ontario to the south; Morningside Avenue to the west; and the Durham Region Border to the east.  He is described as black with a light complexion, 6’0″, thin-medium build, with brown eyes.  Police urge the public to lock all doors and windows, activate alarms if any,  leave porch lights on as a deterrent and make sure garage doors are closed. and locked.
