Few stories catch public attention like those about food. So it is in the aftermath of Friday’s colossal mess on Highway 401 that yogurt lovers and others are engaged on Twitter. Some regretted not being there to see it and smell it. Paras Richi from Haryana, India said “a highway full of untouched yogurt” made him think about the kids in his village who would filch sugarcane from “every trolley and truck that passed because who doesn’t like a free snack.” For sure. Tyler@indoorcrocs reported that he drove by the scene twice and “both times the Miller clean-up crew was eating the unharmed yogurt left over inside the truck.” Paul Richardson@Dr.Goofy416 declared “I always knew yogurt was bad for you.” And James D. Stephens departed from food to observe that the driver (age 25) might have had merely five years experience in a truck. “Would you want him as a trainer? My belief is 10 Years Experience Minimum.” And so on. The OPP think the driver was indeed not paying attention when he sideswiped a sign standard.
