A woman, as yet unnamed, has been charged with dangerous driving after she sped up the walkway to the Courtice Community Centre, smashed through the front doors of the building and into the swimming pool. This occurred at 8.40 a.m. Friday. There is no explanation as yet for why the accused, 36, did this. Courtice is a small community between Oshawa and Whitby.
