Most Raptors party in Vegas as 5 fly home with Nick Nurse

Manager Nick Nurse and five Raptors players arrived in Toronto Saturday night in preparation for Monday’s victory parade and rally at City Hall. The rest of the team remains in Las Vegas where they are partying hard, as seen here. It is apparently still expected that the remaining players will return home Sunday in time for Monday’s events. Those aboard tonight’s flight brought with them the NBA Larry O’Brien trophy. Canadian Press reports that a statement from Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment says the whole team was originally scheduled to arrive at Pearson on Saturday at 9 p.m. But on Saturday afternoon, the same spokesperson said most of the team decided to have one more day of fun in Las Vegas and will return to the City on Sunday.
