Above, Canada Post has issued two very nice stamps to commemorate the wedding of William and Kate. Very nice. And in the U.S.. something of an embarrassment as the Postal Service issues a Statue of Liberty stamp featuring the statue in Las Vegas (also a symbol of liberty). Apparently the artist just mistook the pictures for those of the Lady Liberty residing in New York Harbour. But it seems okay. Patrick Henry might just as easily have said “Give me Liberty or give me Debt.” Now here’s what’s new in stamps
