Two tumbledown old houses (inset) on Laird Drive have been demolished at the location known as 127-129 Laird Drive. The site will become Gyro Hyundai, a new dealership operated right across the street from Gyro Mazda by the same owners. Other demolition remains to be done on the site, which is owned by DEL Truck Equipment As we noted in. January of 2011, a Hyundai dealership will be a good start to bringing back authorized car service to South Bayviewland and surrounding area. There was to have been a large auto plaza built on the old railway site at Laird and Esander Dr but the owners bailed out when the crash of 2008 occurred.
