Senior’s steak house and restaurant, an institution at the corner of Yonge St and Pleasant Blvd, has closed for good after more than 50 years in business. Senior’s was a family run restaurant and as it closed it was being operated by Mary Marlett, daughter of the 86-year-old founder Eddy Marlett. It’s said that a Hero Burger restaurant will take its place at this great location. Yonge and Pleasant is always busy with shoppers, local professional people and subway travellers coming out of the south door of the St. Clair station just across the street.
