Holy Flying Wreckage! The burned out superstructure of the Canadian Tire Garden Centre is hoisted to the parking lot where it will be cut up for scrap. These scenes took place mid-morning Friday. An official on the scene was optimistic that Canadian Tire in the RioCan Leaside Centre, Laird and Eglinton, will re-open next week. He said a misconception about sprinkler systems led many to think that much more inventory was damaged than was really the case. Sprinkler systems are area-controlled and in the case of this fire only the most westerly system was triggered.
