Traffic was brought to a total standstill on South Bayview in both directions this morning when it was necessary to bring in a flat bed truck to remove a disabled car. The vehicle was stuck in the southbound lane outside the Bagel House south of Belsize Drive for more than an hour, stretching the patience of drivers. We love our two-lane Bayview Ave. but from time to time it has its downside. We have no word on unnecessary horn honking and in fact local motorists are very civilized about delays when people must parallel park. The honking thing is a special file at the South Bayview Bulldog which would have signs placed to warn against horn rage.. Pictures Sue Byford
