Stolen passports used to board Malaysia jet

Interpol has issued a sharply-worded criticism of the sloppy way passports are checked at national passport control points. It said no country checked its database that held information about two stolen passports that were used to board an ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight with 239 people on board.  Interpol said it had information available about an Austrian passport stolen in 2012 and an Italian passport stolen in 2013 which were stolen in Thailand.
