Annaleise Carr is safely ashore on the Canadian side this morning after taking a short cut in her planned 75 kilometre route from the U.S. side. The short cut took the 16-year-old Norfolk County girl to Long Point, a extended piece of land that runs out into the lake and permitting her to land a short distance to the southwest of Port Dover.
