Petra Grantham has written to ask the many alumnus of Rolph Road Elementary School (and their families) to start digging for pictures and other memories of days spent at this great old institution. It is 75 this year. The occasion will take place over two days: Friday, October 24th will see a social event at the William Lea Room at Leaside Arena and Saturday, October 25th is the big Open House at the school. You can register on Facebook or at the Website. The organizers are looking for all sorts of things. Stories, photos, memorabilia, documents, books, correspondence and newspaper clippings. Can you tell them something about the school’s history? Do you recall any happy/fun/sad/scary events? Do you have a memory you would like to share? Do you have contact information for former classmates and teachers/principals? Can you help the school identify other students and staff from your era? Do you know of any notable/famous students?
