China trip ends with word of investment, jobs

Ontario Premier Wynne has ended her trade trip to China in what is being heralded as nearly $1 billion in new investment in the province and the addition of some 1,800 jobs here. It is a welcome achievement and there will be eager interest in the details. One element is an agreement with  the Chinese telecom company Huawei to create up to 325 new jobs in the next five years. The premier is said to have squeezed in some sightseeing at the end of her trip, She took time for walk, if not a jog, along the very steep slopes of the walkways on the top of the Great Wall.  Government News Release
