Sunnybrook hospital has announced it has a patient under investigation for Ebola. Sunnybrook says the patient is isolated in its facility for such work. The patient was admitted today (Wednesday, March 18, 2015) with fever and nausea and had recently travelled to West Africa. “The patient is currently being assessed in a negative pressure room by a small team of our most qualified staff,” the statement said. Sunnybrook is one of several hospitals designated by the province to take responsibility for treating Ebola and Ebola-symptom cases when they appear.
