The CBC has fired the executive director of radio and the head of human resources for the way in which they handled events around Jian Ghomeshi. The two men are Chris Boyce and Todd Spencer. They have been on leave since January. Critical to the decision appears to be the evidence that they were aware of Mr. Ghomeshi’s actions against a female employee and advised her to deal with it.
