Bill Blair “arrests” another opponent in Scarborough riding

Former police chief Bill Blair has brought an end to the hopes of another Liberal Party candidate of winning the federal nomination in the riding of Scarborough Southwest. This time its criminologist Michael Kempa who will step aside. Kempa had been working to get the constituency nod for about a year. But no go, as the famous Mr. Blair arrived, nomination papers in hand. Former CTV anchor Tim Weber also dropped out of the race when he heard that Mr. Blair was seeking the nomination.
