Carolyn Armstrong with family at Millwood and Bayview
Carolyn Armstrong is asking fellow residents to join her and her friends at the southwest corner of Bayview Ave. and Millwood Rd. Saturday morning to visit a pop-up lemonade stand in aid of Camp Huronda. The camp is a Diabetes Association facility for children with Type 1 Diabetes. This is a City-wide campaign apparently. The location is outside epi bakery. The stand is there from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. It’s called Put A Squeeze on Diabetes. The campaign goes next weekend too when the pop-up lemonade stand will be at Lexus on the Park. Carolyn asks that if you are unable to attend, buy a virtual glass of lemonade here. Facebook
