An unknown source of mineral oil has fouled the feathers of ducks in the Mimico Creek causing them to become waterlogged. The extra weight makes the ducks vulnerable to predators and hampers flight generally. Animal workers are on the scene and the birds are being found and cleaned one by one. There appear to be dozens.
