The Pan Am Games torch will be passed between runners at R.V Burgess Park in Thorncliffe Park tomorrow morning (Monday, July 6, 2015). The exchange is expected to occur shortly before noon when runner Steven Gorgievski will come pounding into the park. He will pass the torch to Jaime Deane. The full ceremony surrounding the torch will go from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The celebration is a partnership between the Thorncliffe Park Women’s Committee, the Toronto Public Library, the City of Toronto and the TO2015 Pan Am/Para Pan Am Games. The celebrations will feature a market, art, music, performances and sports demonstrations.
