At time of posting, Canada sits at the top of the leader board with 22 gold medals — which is 10 more than the Americans, who are sitting in second place. It seems though that every time we post an update with the medal count, within minutes our story is inaccurate as we continue to haul in more hardware! Reports say that our athletes’ successes on home turf have prompted a surge in last minute ticket sales — or perhaps the surge in ticket sales and louder cheers from the Canadian fans have motivated our athletes.
