Doctors group predicts long waits from OMA deal

Some Ontario doctors claim the tentative deal reached between the Ontario Medical Association and the government will lead to much longer wait times for surgery and diagnostic processes. The Canadian Press story does not address how the settlement might cause that to happen but it is clear the doctors’ group, known as “Concerned Ontario Doctors” is not happy with the increases offered to physicians of 2.5 per cent a year to 2020. Nor is it clear how many doctors are represented but the group says it is thousands.

  1. It seem to me that it is ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY and NOT the welfare of the patients…Most Doctors already get much ore then they need, some of them get almost an million a year.It can be searched on the web …
