York Regional Police have a warrant for manslaughter for Jiarui “Jerry” Tang, 21, in connection with the disappearance of Ying Chun (Annie) Li last June. The 36-year-old Markham woman was last seen on the 12th of that month at a Chinese restaurant in Richmond Hill. Annie’s brother Jet Hu told cops that his sister got a text message from someone that night and then told her parents that she was heading out to eat dinner with a friend. Hu said his sister texted that night at about 11 p.m. to say she would be back home in the morning, but never returned.
