The Toronto Blue Jays are moving on the American League Championship Series after a wild finish to Game 3 of the ALDS. It was a moment that will live in Blue Jay’s annals. With the game tied at 6 in the 10th, Edwin Encarnacion on first and Josh Donaldson on second with one out, Rangers reliever Matt Bush got Russell Martin to ground the ball to short. Elvis Andrus fielded it easily and it looked like the Rangers were sure to close out the Jays with a double play. But Andrus wasn’t quite on-line with his throw to second baseman Rougned Odor. He had to pause on the pivot in front of Encarnacion’s slide. First baseman Mitch Moreland struggled to find the ball, which fell in the dirt. Donaldson barreled by third and came all the way home, clearly safe.
