With barely three weeks left before the U.S. general election on Tuesday, November 8, polls seem to show that Donald Trump cannot win. Many people would say that this has been apparent for some time but the media has been interested in making the election look close. The NBC/Wall Street Journal poll (top) indicates an eleven point margin between Clinton and Trump with nearly ten percent of the vote leaning to the splinter Libertarian and Green parties. The Washington Post/ABC News poll (lower) shows Clinton four percent ahead of Trump with five percent of potential Republican votes going to the Libertarians.
