The former home of Pronto and Lai Toh Heen restaurants at 692 Mt. Pleasant Rd. at Soudan Ave. is undergoing some renovations, apparently to make it easier to lease. Sources indicate that a second-floor mezzanine will be filled in to create a complete second floor, suitable maybe as an apartment.
