Murky image inset shows what police believe is hit-run truck
Police say a man, 76, was struck by a hit-and-run driver Monday about 8:15 a.m. as he tried to cross Aragon Ave at Sheppard Ave. They say a truck approaching Sheppard struck the pedestrian. The driver stopped and then left the scene. The corner is controlled by traffic lights but police make no mention of what they showed at the time of the hit and run.The man is said to have life-threatening injuries.
