Lynda DeBono has written with good news about this year’s Annual Sarah and Claire’s Food Drive. The generous and energetic efforts of friends in all directions delivered 78,000 pounds of food, 28,000 pounds more than the campaign target. Lynda reports that this brings the all-time efforts of local citizens each year to more than 293,000 pounds of food raised for Daily Bread Food Bank since 2008. She shouts out to students, parents, teachers and residents in the Leaside, Davisville Village, Bennington Heights, Lawrence Park, Don Mills and Riverdale communities for all of their selfless efforts. The Bulldog will steal a line to say the same to all and express admiration for the leadership of Lynda and Mark and their two caring daughters.
