A clerical error at a Toronto courthouse is being blamed for the escape from custody of a man police call violent and dangerous. He is 36-year-old Lingathasan Suntharamoorthy, now sought on a Canada-wide warrant. He left the Toronto East courthouse Friday morning and is now unlawfully at large. He should not approached if seen. Suntharamoorthy is described as five-foot-10, with a medium build, and short black hair. “He is known to be violent and dangerous,” police say in their release issued a dinner time.
