Jerry Tang, 21, has pleaded guilty to the death of Ying Chun (Annie) Li, 36. Her body was found after a manhunt for Tang. He has pleaded guilty to manslaughter. The Markham woman disappeared in June after telling parents and brother she was going out to dinner, and then later, texting that she would be home in the morning. The next day, she failed to reply to texts. She was last seen alive leaving a restaurant followed by a man later identified later as Tang. He will be sentenced on February 1.
