New colours for bus
On Balliol St. traffic was blocked on the west side at Mt. Pleasant as a sky crane lifted replacement elevator parts to the mechanical room atop the roof of a Davisville Ave. apartment. Upper right we see the arrows of Eglinton Ave E. These flashing right, left, right pointers near Forman Ave. signal the serpentine route required to keep from falling into an LRT excavation. Lower right is a freshly out-shopped TTC bus in the new livery. This paint job deletes the 45 degree angle in the belt-line and colours the top of the bus red, it seems. But will it, as one wag wondered, make it arrive on time?
