Police are searching for a man they allege is “violent and dangerous,” who escaped custody while in Toronto General Hospital Thursday night. It’s unclear why Justin Yates, 39, was in custody or how he escaped from the hospital. He is said to be 5′ 9″ 200 lbs, with a beard/moustache, numerous tattoos and wearing black track pants and a black shirt. Yates was the subject of a release January 15 in which police were seeking him for alleged theft from a down office in the amount of $100,000. Man wanted for $100,000 property break-in downtown.
