South Bayview Saturday
It was a stunning Saturday in February to kick off the Family Day weekend in South Bayview. Shoppers strolled the street and old friends embraced in — yes — 12 degree weather. The rest of the weekend also looks good as does the week ahead. Saturday’s sun and record-breaking mild temperatures had people — a few — wearing shorts. The high reached 12 C in Toronto, surpassing the old record of 10.8 in 2011. A high of 10 C is forecast for Sunday, a couple of degrees below the record of 12.5 C set in 1994.
