Karim Baratov’s lawyer says his client is considering waiving his right to an extradition hearing and although he did not say why, possible reasons are imaginable. The lawyer, Amedeo DiCarlo made the announcement in Hamilton court today and said a decision would come at a hearing on July 7. It seems very certain the US government will wish to know what Mr. Baratov has done and what he knows. Such information may well be negotiable. Baratov is the 22-year-old Ancaster resident wanted by the CIA in connection with alleged Russian hacking in the US
