A service will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home on Bayview Ave. on Wednesday, July 19 for former Crown Attorney Llewellyn John Applegath. Mr. Applegath led a distinguished life as a lawyer, husband and attentive father to his three sons. He was a skilled poker player among many interests. His obituary notes his father’s business known as Applegath Hats, a firm which did business in the Hobberlins Department Store at 155 Yonge St starting early in the 20th Century. Obituary
