Two women have been hit by what police call unknown projectiles as they waited for a TTC bus at Ionview Road and Eglinton Avenue East. The incidents occurred July 12 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.. In the first, a 43-year-old woman was struck by something coming from an unknown direction. A second woman, 22, was hit in the same time frame in the same way. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
