Police say a 45-year-old woman has been grievously injured after she lay down in the middle of Dundas St. E at Sherbourne St. about 4 a.m. and was subsequently struck by a vehicle which fled the scene. PC. Clint Stibbe said police are asking anybody who was in the area, if they believe they may have struck something, to contact police as soon as possible. He said they are also seeking witnesses to the accident.
