A woman said to be in her 20s was seriously injured in a car when it flipped over at Sherbourne and Bloor Sts. Sunday afternoon. Police have no further details as posting.
MAN SHOT AS MANY AS 12 TIMES IN SCARBOROUGH APARTMENT
The dispiriting pattern of young men settling their accounts with lethal violence is seen again in Scarborough where a man, 21, is dead in a “targeted” shooting. Detective Hank Idsinga told the CBC that Malique Ellis reporters may have been shot as many as 12 times by the unknown assailant Sunday morning. The perpetrator followed a tenant through the secure entrance of the building and headed up to the third floor where he allegedly shot the victim before fleeing down the north stairwell and out into the parking lot.
