Many readers are commenting on Leaside Community this Saturday in response to a man who came home to find a large cable spool in his backyard. He believes there’s an easement for Bell and others to work back there when necessary. But he wondered just what was happening. It appears to be the arrival of fibre optic cable (fibe) in Leaside. A crew was busy Saturday morning installing a fibe box on Millwood Rd. at Sutherland Dr. outside the little plaza in the 900 block. At right, we see the unholy blockage caused in 2014 at Millwood and Bayview Ave. when fibe came to the Davisville side.
