Residents of North Leaside are posting Facebook alerts about men seen loitering near homes. One post references Bessborough and Broadway, another at Brentcliffe and Eglinton. At the latter he might have been waiting for a bus. But some details seem concerning. The resident near Broadway says “We have video footage of him accessing our backyard and hanging around by our doors and windows (doesn’t seem to have tried to force the entry though). The weird thing is he will stay in the area for 1-3 hours, and will wander up and down Bessborough and Broadway. The police have been notified, and I spoke to our neighbours so they are aware too as we don’t know if he’s accessing anyone else’s property, but I also wanted to send out a friendly reminder to keep your house and car doors and windows locked, and if you notice anything strange like this or have security video footage, notify the police so they can see if there are any patterns.”
