The Globe and Mail reports on the sale of 139 Cottingham St. (just off Avenue Rd. at Sidney St.) which sold for $3,125,000 in February. That exceeded the asking price of $2,750,000 by a tidy $375,000. The condition was that the buyer had just two hours to think about accepting this offer for his century home. It seems to have been easy for him to accept this so-called “bully offer.”
