An elderly man is in grave condition in hospital Saturday following an accident at the corner of Castle Knock Rd. and Eglinton Ave. west of Avenue Rd. He was apparently crossing Eglinton outside the Scotiabank on the corner when he was struck by a vehicle and pinned underneath. Eglinton is heavily obstructed all across Midtown because of the Crosstown LRT construction.
WOMAN HURT IN FIRE, TRANS PARADE FRIDAY NIGHT
A woman said to be in her 50s is in hospital after a fire on the second floor of a house on D’Arcy Street between Spadina Avenue and Huron Street Saturday afternoon. And the Trans Parade has taken place Friday.
